As Kiki and Miguel get ready to welcome their baby boy, I had the honor of photographing them in their beautiful, cozy home in Palm Beach. With a view facing the Intracoastal, it was the perfect setting for a relaxed, at-home maternity session that felt calm, intimate, and true to them.

We started upstairs with portraits of Kiki and some of the sweetest baby details. A little later, Miguel joined in and we moved through a mix of indoor and outdoor photos, focusing on their connection and highlighting the baby bump in a really natural way.

At one point, I asked them what they love to do when they’re home together. They sat in their favorite chairs, put on some jazz on their record player, and pulled out a few photography books. One of my favorite moments was watching them flip through Miguel’s father’s photography book, filled with incredible street photography from Brazil — such a meaningful and personal touch to include in their session.

As the sun started to set, we stepped outside for a few final shots by the water. The light was soft, the view was beautiful, and the whole session felt incredibly peaceful. Easily one of the coziest, most laid-back sessions with the coolest couple.
